Fabricator/Welder – Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Luton
Our client is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Fabricator/Welder to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual with a strong mechanical background and proficiency in MIG and MMA welding to contribute to high-quality, bespoke metalwork projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate and assemble metal components in line with technical drawings and specifications
Carry out MIG and MMA welding to a high standard
Use hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery to cut, shape, and finish materials
Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet internal and customer standards
Maintain a safe, organised work environment and comply with all health and safety guidelines
Collaborate with the wider team to improve processes and product quality
Use basic math skills for accurate measurements and material calculations
Requirements:
Proven experience in fabrication and welding
Solid mechanical understanding and ability to interpret engineering drawings
Skilled in using welding equipment, hand tools, and workshop machinery
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and within a team
Clear communication skills and ability to follow instructions
CSCS trade card required
