Mathematics Teacher – Secondary School in Bury
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Bury starting after the May half term 2025. This is a full-time role with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
Support students of varying abilities to achieve their academic potential
Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour
Participate in department meetings, CPD, and whole school initiatives
Requirements:
Must hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire pupils
A commitment to providing high-quality education and safeguarding pupils
Daily rate of £150 – £220, based on experience, responsibilities, and assignment length
Access to potential temporary-to-permanent contracts with direct school employment
