Audit & Accounts Manager Where Balance Meets Impact. Lets be honest - the long hours, relentless deadlines, and endless hierarchy of big-firm life can start to wear thin. If you still love the work (the clients, the challenge, the variety), but youre craving a role that actually respects your time and your headspace, this might be the change youve been waiting for. Campbell Grove Talent are working with an independent Accountancy practice based on the outskirts of Bradford. They've built long-standing relationships with a diverse mix of clients, and known for combining deep expertise with a fresh, modern approach. The Role They're looking for an Audit and Accounts Manager who enjoys variety - someone who can lead on audits confidently, but also get involved in accounts, tax, and wider advisory projects. Youll manage your own portfolio of clients, build genuine relationships, and deliver high-quality work that actually makes a difference (without the pressure cooker pace). Youll also play a key part in supporting and developing the team, mentoring juniors, reviewing work, and collaborating with Directors on interesting advisory and special projects. What Makes This Audit and Accounts Manager Role Different: True balance:35 hour working week, flexible and hybrid options that are designed for people who value their time as much as their career. Variety, not monotony : A genuine mix of audit, accounts, tax, and advisory work. No two days look quite the same. A voice thats heard: They're small enough that your ideas matter. Youll have real input into how we grow and evolve as a firm. No corporate layers : Youll work directly with decision-makers, not through endless levels of management. The Ideal Candidate: ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with strong audit and accounts experience (around 5 years). Confident technical knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards. A natural communicator who builds trust easily with clients and colleagues. Someone proactive, curious, and comfortable juggling different types of work. What You'll Get: 35-hour working week Flexible, hybrid working options Supportive, relaxed, and genuinely friendly culture Modern offices with parking Regular socials, ongoing development, and real opportunities to grow If youve been craving a role that gives you space to breathe while still letting you do what youre great at - this could be the perfect fit.
