Responsibilities
* Take charge of a unit and promote our residents' independence, choice and dignity by ensuring the team provides the highest standards of care at all times.
* Assess each resident's wellbeing – ensuring their physical, emotional and social needs are met – and maintain accurate records.
* Deliver clinical guidance, lead by example, motivate and mentor the team to ensure the safe, smooth and efficient running of the care home.
* Build lasting relationships with residents and loved ones, fostering a sense of community.
* Develop strong relationships with local partners, liaise with them, and raise the care home’s profile locally and beyond.
Key Skills / Qualifications
* A Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN and a genuine commitment to adhering to the NMC Codes of Conduct and to professional development.
* A passion for caring for the elderly and a flair for helping people maintain their independence, choice and dignity.
* An effective communicator who can build strong and honest relationships with residents and their families.
* A leader who can delegate effectively, motivate and mentor a team, and promote excellent customer service and relationships.
* A respectful and compassionate team player who believes in giving their personal best.
