Your new role: As a Project Manager, you will assume the role of a single and trusted point of contact for all assigned projects, operating in line with the Project Management framework (including Health and Safety requirements) at all times. You will ensure that allocated projects are delivered within the agreed scope, plan, budget, and time milestones. You will also ensure awareness and compliance with all contractual arrangements for each assigned project, meeting with relevant stakeholders as required to clarify any points. Additionally, you will communicate all target project deliverables and reinforce them to all relevant business functions.
You will expedite project tasks against planned timescales within each function, ensuring adequate resources are assigned to meet delivery milestones. Managing project costs against planned budgets, you will take corrective actions when necessary and keep the finance team informed of any changes in forecast margins. Consistent communication is essential to keep both internal and external customers informed of project progress and issues, ensuring all parties are aware of their requirements.
Hours: Mon - Fri, 8 am - 4:30 pm
What you'll need to succeed
* Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years in a project management role.
* Proven experience in driving large, complex projects to completion within targets.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels, both internally and externally.
* The ability to exercise sound judgment in responding to inquiries.
* Strong self-motivation, exceptional organizational skills, and attention to detail.
* The ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames and adapt to frequent priority changes.
* Strong financial and commercial awareness, and the ability to create detailed programs of work using Microsoft Project or equivalent.
