About the role
We are delighted to share that we are recruiting for Learning Partners to join our Capability team here at Tesco. There are permanent and fixed-term contract opportunities available.
The successful candidates will be responsible for leading the scope, design, and development of strategically aligned learning solutions for colleagues and managers across the Tesco group. Building blended solutions that equip colleagues and managers with the right skills, behaviors, and values to deliver our strategic priorities. With significant experience in blended, innovative learning design, you'll be able to balance a more strategic perspective with a pragmatic approach in providing expert advice and suggesting creative solutions to colleague and manager development gaps.
This role would suit someone creative with end-to-end learning needs analysis and a blended learning design background.

You will be responsible for
* Contributing to the creation of a capability strategy that builds critical colleague and manager capabilities for now and in the future (both skills and behaviors).
* Translating data-informed development needs to learning solutions that align with key initiatives at a strategic level.
* Using your experience of developing critical capabilities to curate and/or design leading-edge learning interventions in partnership with external experts and stakeholders, utilizing creativity, latest thinking, and technology to enhance the learner experience.
* Managing end-to-end complex learning design to address development needs, utilizing a variety of learning formats (digital, F2F, video). Acting as the SME on design content, drawing on external thinking to create sustainable and innovative solutions.
* Working across all markets to ensure products are researched and designed to be fit for purpose and sustainable across the group.
* Collaborating with Tesco Business Services (TBS) to develop the right blend of solutions that help colleagues and managers build their ability to self-serve on learning.
* Being accountable for ensuring centrally owned development programs are designed and delivered within agreed timescales and budgets.
* Acting as the SME for core learning products, ensuring the right level of engagement, sign-off, and sign-up across all markets and areas in the Tesco group.
* Partnering with delivery teams to build trainer capability and understanding of products by running pilots and train-the-trainer sessions for new material.
* Partnering with stakeholders across markets, acting as a credible expert providing advice and recommendations on leading-edge development solutions to support bespoke development needs.
* Supporting the sign-off and engagement of new learning solutions within the People team and across the business.
* Working with subject matter experts to ensure both skills and behaviors are incorporated into learning solutions, providing the best learning experience for colleagues and managers.
* Ensuring a learner-led, simple, and accessible group capability offer that is data-led and supports strategic priorities.
* Working seamlessly across the People operating model and wider capability PoE to respond to changing business needs in an agile manner while keeping the learner experience central.
* Maintaining expertise and professional development, being a thought leader, and striving for continuous improvement across the capability catalog.
* Using data and analytics to review and evaluate existing development solutions, presenting data compellingly, making recommendations for improvements, and supporting future business cases.
* Championing and role modeling Tesco's Win Together behaviors, contributing to a cultural change program, and actively promoting a culture of learning.
* Collaborating with the learning governance and delivery teams to ensure content is on the capacity plan and effectively deployed.
* Working with the learning technology team to champion a digital learner experience.
* Partnering with other PoE teams (Talent, D&I) to connect learning solutions with the wider business agenda and inclusion priorities.
* Engaging and managing relationships with external partners, ensuring value for money and adherence to sourcing processes.
* Managing budgets, forecasting, and accountability for external design work.
* Staying updated with digital skills trends, ensuring learning solutions incorporate relevant digital competencies.
* Curating high-quality content from various sources to keep learning solutions relevant and up-to-date.
You will need
* Creative, end-to-end learning needs analysis and blended learning design skills
* Strong learning design skills across various formats and levels
* Proven ability to bring external best practice into Tesco, with a focus on CPD
* Expertise in diversity and inclusion challenges and opportunities
* Knowledge of technical and behavioral learning design
* Strong network of talent and development specialists for external best practice
* Senior stakeholder management skills, especially with diverse international stakeholders
* Knowledge of the latest learning trends and understanding of how people learn
