Our client is a growing Life Science company based in Oxfordshire, who are currently looking for an experienced Grants Manager to join the company on a permanent, full-time basis. The role is primarily based at the company facility in Oxfordshire with some working flexibility.
The role:
As a Grant Manager you will be responsible for leading the grant-funding projects and undertaking fundraising for new innovative projects.
Main duties will include:
* Research and identification of new funding sources to support the research strategy.
* Writing and application of grant requests.
* Undertake long-term strategic approach to future funding.
* Acting as knowledgeable lead around developments in UK and EU funding.

Our client seeks an individual with a pro-active mind-set with an ability to work successfully within multi-disciplinary teams. Core experience will include:
* Current experience in a grant proposals role, with a track-record in writing and submitting successful grant applications.
* Project management experience gained within a scientific setting, delivering on project outcomes, working with multiple stakeholders.
* Educated to MSc or PhD in a Life Science discipline.
* Good knowledge and professional experience with UK/EU/US funding programs (such as Innovate UK, Horizon 2020, SRBI).
