About Evolution Golf
Evolution Golf is a fast-growing specialist golf e-commerce business based in Ringwood, Hampshire. We sell premium golf equipment to UK golfers through, powered by Shopify. With ambitious growth plans and significant investment in paid acquisition, we're looking for a PPC specialist who wants to own real budgets and grow with us.

The Role
We're hiring a PPC Specialist to manage and optimise our paid advertising campaigns across Google and Meta. The role is approximately ~90% e-commerce (driving online product sales) and ~10% local services (custom fitting, lessons, bookings). You'll be responsible for day-to-day campaign execution with autonomy to make decisions, supported by strategic direction from senior management.
This is a hands-on role with genuine room to grow. We have ambitious plans to scale our ad spend to six-figure monthly budgets and we need someone with the skills and drive to get us there.

Key Responsibilities
Campaign Management

• Manage and optimise Google Ads campaigns, with Shopping campaigns as the primary focus, followed by Search, Remarketing, and Performance Max.

• Manage and optimise Meta Ads campaigns to support e-commerce sales and brand awareness.

• Monitor campaign performance daily, adjusting bids, budgets, targeting, and product groups.

• Create and test ad copy, audiences, and creative assets across channels.

• Support local campaigns to drive bookings for services (custom fitting, lessons).

• Maintain accurate conversion tracking and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Product Feed & Merchant Center

• Contribute to Google Merchant Center and product feed management alongside the wider team, ensuring Shopping campaigns are powered by accurate, optimised product data.

• Work with Shoptimised and Shopify to monitor feed health, flag errors and disapprovals, and recommend improvements to product titles, descriptions, and attributes.

• Collaborate with the team to ensure product data, imagery, and pricing support strong Shopping performance.

Reporting & Analysis

• Produce weekly performance reports with key metrics, observations, and recommendations.

• Use ProfitMetrics to track true profitability and ROAS, not just top-line revenue metrics.

• Identify trends and growth opportunities across campaigns and product categories.

• Flag underperforming campaigns and recommend optimisations with data to back it up.

• Track competitor activity (pricing, promotions, ad strategies) and share relevant insights.

Requirements
Essential
Minimum 2 years of hands-on PPC experience (agency or in-house).
Proven experience managing Google Ads Shopping campaigns in an e-commerce environment.
Strong working knowledge of Google Ads Search campaigns.
Experience with Google Merchant Center and product feed management.
Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager.
Understanding of conversion tracking principles, including experience with Google Analytics (GA4) and/or Google Tag Manager.
Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and performance reporting.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously day-to-day.
Desirable
Experience with Shopify-based e-commerce.
Experience with Remarketing and Performance Max campaigns.
Familiarity with feed optimisation tools such as Shoptimised, DataFeedWatch, or similar.
Experience with ProfitMetrics or profit-based bidding approaches.
Any experience with email marketing (Klaviyo, Mailchimp).

Golf Knowledge — A Real Advantage
A genuine interest in golf is a significant plus for this role. Understanding the products, the brands, and what golfers actually search for makes a real difference to Shopping feed quality, ad copy, and campaign structure. If you know your Titleist from your TaylorMade and understand why a golfer might search differently for a driver versus a wedge, you'll have a head start. We're not expecting a scratch handicap, but someone who gets the sport and the customer will thrive here.

Hybrid remote — fully remote available but 1 day a week in the office preferred
