About the Post
The post attracts 10 programmed activities and the appointee will be expected to participate in the on‑call duties which are currently a one‑in‑five rota.
Consultant offices are based on site at Queen’s Hospital but clinical responsibilities mean rotating through both acute sites of Queen’s Hospital and King George Hospital where we have on‑site laboratories and appointees will be expected to take an active interest in these facilities.
Any candidate who is unable to work full‑time for personal reasons will be eligible for consideration for the post. If such a person is appointed, modification of the job content will be discussed on a personal basis with the Trust, in consultation with consultant colleagues.
