Aim of the Waiter role
To assist the Restaurant Manager and assistants in the organisation of service in the Restaurant and Room Service areas.
Responsibilities of the Waiter role
* Deliver exceptional service, maintaining the restaurant's professional standards at all times.
* Develop strong menu and product knowledge to confidently explain dishes and hotel services to guests.
* Communicate effectively and respectfully with colleagues across all departments.
* Ensure guests' needs are met wherever possible, showing pride and passion for the hotel.
* Support daily operations, including mise en place, cleaning, and service, working flexibly as part of the team.
* Complete all tasks within set timeframes and to company standards.
* Take ownership of your station, ensuring dishes are delivered efficiently and areas remain clean and organised.
* Build rapport with guests by using their names appropriately.
* Uphold company policies around privacy, confidentiality, and data protection.
Waiter - About you
Experience in working in a 4* or 5* hotel restaurant is desirable
Experience working to a Rosette standard is desirable
You will have keen eye for detail, organisational skills and confident in communicating with the team
