Practice Supervisor
Location: Richmond, North Yorkshire
Salary: £47,181 – £51,356 per annum (pro rata)
Grade: M
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full time – flexible working arrangements available, including remote and home working.
About The Role
The team is committed to working with children and their families/carers. We use solution‑focused, strength‑based practice models, including Signs of Safety, Systemic theory and the Family Finding approach. You will help us continue to offer a unique service and make a real difference to young people in our county.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide daily supervision to Social Workers
* Support risk management and decision‑making
* Mentor colleagues and help develop their practice
* Lead on quality assurance and performance monitoring
* Chair multi‑agency meetings and attend child protection conferences
What We’re Looking For
You should be a qualified Social Worker (DIPSW, CQSW, Masters, or Degree in Social Work), ideally with supervisory or management experience. Demonstrated strong skills and knowledge aligned with the job specification are required. A genuine passion for working with young people and helping them build brighter futures is essential.
