Experienced Assistant General Manager - Modern British Restaurant, Brentford
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant General Manager to join the team at this fantastic, independently owned group of brasseries & larders serving modern British food with a real focus seasonal produce from around the UK. As Assistant General Manager you would will be based in West London, you will assist and support the General Manager in the daily running of the restaurant, ensuring that the highest standards are always maintained.

The Place
Our client is an independently owned rapidly growing company with several restaurants, pantries & stores with a reputation of culinary excellence. The venue itself is located with beautiful river views with an outdoor terrace, with 150 diners per service which increases in summer months. This group is Rosette standard within a beautiful yet casual setting.
The Person
The ideal Assistant General Manager will have the following:
- Previous experience in an Assistant General Manager in the hospitality industry at least 2 years in Rosette standard
- A huge must is that you live in West London and within a commutable distance of Brentford
- Reliable, hardworking and passionate
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Experience in high volume, upscale restaurants
- Can do attitude & team player & leader
- Fully flexible on day/evening/weekend shifts
- A true passion for food and have the enthusiasm and willingness to learn
- Ability to train, lead and guide the front of house
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels
- Assist in financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and reporting
