ELECTRICAL IMPROVER/MATE
Salary: £27,000–£33,000 per year (depending on experience)
Location: Sevenoaks, Kent (travel across the South East)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
(Occasional early starts, late finishes, or weekend/overtime as projects require)
The quick bit
This is a pathway role into solar. If you’re an Electrical Improver or Mate with site experience and the right attitude, we’ll train you up in Solar PV and battery installs. You bring the graft and basics — we’ll build the solar skills.

What you’ll be doing
* Assisting the team with PV installs: panel mounting, containment, cable pulls
* Supporting AC/DC cabling and tidy site set-ups
* Loading/unloading kit, keeping sites organised and safe
* Learning solar best practice alongside experienced installers
* Helping with testing and commissioning as you progress
* Being polite and professional at customer sites
What we need from you
* Electrical site experience (improver/mate level)
* Comfortable using tools, working at height, and following instructions
* ECS card
* Keen interest in renewables/solar
* Professional attitude, reliable, and a good team player
* Clean UK driving licence
