Job Title: Finance Manager

Sewell Wallis is seeking a Finance Manager with a strong technical background, experienced in large complex group reporting and consolidations, ideally within a sizable multi-million pound business handling group accounts.

Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester

The company has experienced significant growth over the past two years and has ambitious expansion plans. They are looking for a confident, qualified (ACA or ACCA) Finance Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses a proactive approach, and is eager to advance their career. Responsibilities

* Oversee a portfolio of properties, managing large complex group consolidations and cash flow statements.
* Manage a small team of management accountants responsible for management information (MI) preparation.
* Onboard new assets and build new consolidations, accounting for new legal entities.
* Engage in business partnering with internal and external stakeholders to provide insights on your portfolio.
* Handle treasury management, cash forecasts, and collaborate with the treasury team.
* Lead annual reporting and audits for multiple entities.
* Manage tax matters such as VAT and CIT returns.
* Support non-finance managers with financial insights.
* Present monthly and quarterly management accounts to Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and boards.
* Manage lease accounting and perform variance analysis at the revenue-to-lease level.


Candidate Requirements

* Qualified ACA or ACCA accountant.
* Experience in property or real estate industry is beneficial but not essential.
* Proactive mindset, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience with large, complex group structures.
* Knowledge of IFRS.
