TRC is working with one of its longest-standing healthcare clients to find an excellent Deputy Home Manager in Kirklees for their specialist learning disabilities service. The home is well-established with the support of a multi-disciplinary team that provides specialist care to adults with learning disabilities.Must have experience with learning disabilities and PBS for this role!Benefits:33 days holiday, Level 5 funded, length of service awards, flexible on schedule.
The Role (not exhaustive):
To provide day-to-day leadership to effectively manage the care home, utilising a 7-day working rota.To support the registered manager with all aspects of a care home for disabled adults with associated learning, sensory, and physical needs. To effectively lead an integrated team of support and social care staffEnsure staff attendance at the induction and in-house induction processDirectly manage/supervise senior support workersDeliver individual and team training needs to the learning and development department in accordance with PDR requirements.Set targets for individuals in line with the business plan objectivesCoordinate day-to-day liaison with and on behalf of service users with other internal and external community links.Represent the group at internal and external meetings, conferences and seminars if necessary.Performance monitoring and service management.Take primary responsibility for ensuring delivery of support services to contract requirements.Maintain records and procedures accurately.Ensure all complaints are recorded, investigated and reported appropriately and in accordance with the in-house policy.
