Responsibilities
* Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth functioning.
* Supervise and motivate staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas, fostering a positive team environment.
* Support food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high-quality standards.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold hygiene standards across all areas of the establishment.
* Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and optimise table turnover during busy periods.
* Handle customer enquiries and resolve any complaints promptly to guarantee customer satisfaction.
* Assist in training new staff members on service procedures, food safety, and company policies.
* Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies to maintain efficient inventory management.
* Support the organisation of special events or promotions within the restaurant setting.
Skills
* Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within hospitality environments.
* Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
* Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate staff effectively.
* Demonstrated experience in supervising food production, serving, and kitchen operations.
* Familiarity with culinary practices, including food presentation and quality control.
* Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
* Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
* Good communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and customers alike.
