An exciting opportunity has arisen at Liverpool City Council; the Planning team are looking to recruit 4 Town Planner Degree Apprentices. We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated candidates to help deliver the key planning priorities for the council and to support the Planning process. If you have a keen interest in helping to improve our city and are looking to progress your career we would like to hear from you. This is a 5 year apprenticeship alongside study at university. Applicants would be required to carry out the course at Sheffield Hallam University and prior to applying, should check to see if they qualify for enrolment (as detailed in the person specification). You will: Develop knowledge and understanding of planning legislation, regulation and associated technical guidance, policies, and procedures. Provide technical support for all aspects of the registration, validation and determination of planning applications and assist in the investigation and resolution of enforcement complaints.
