About the Role
We are looking for motivated and reliable Production Operators to join our team in Histon. In this role, you will take responsibility for operating machinery and supporting production processes, ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
You will work in a semi-autonomous capacity within a supportive team environment, with guidance from line managers and trainers where required.
Key Responsibilities
Safety
7. Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free working environment
8. Follow all health & safety policies and procedures
9. Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure safe operations
10. Actively support site safety behaviours and standards
Quality
11. Follow recipes and processes to exact specifications
12. Ensure all products meet required quality standards
13. Complete all documentation accurately and clearly
14. Report and resolve any production or quality issues
Hygiene
15. Follow “Clean As You Go” practices at all times
16. Maintain high standards of cleanliness across equipment and work areas
17. Adhere to site hygiene and PPE standards
Output & Performance
18. Deliver production targets within agreed timeframes
19. Carry out changeovers to required standards
20. Accurately record machine settings and product samples
21. Work flexibly with team members to meet customer demands
What We’re Looking For
22. Previous factory or production experience is desirable but not essential
23. Methodical and detail-oriented approach
24. Good hand-eye coordination
25. Physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
26. Positive, enthusiastic, and team-focused attitude
27. Basic numeracy and literacy skills (Level 1 or equivalent)
28. Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime when required
Additional Information
29. You will be part of a team of approximately 15 colleagues
30. This role requires reliable transport/independent commuting
31. Flexibility is required to meet business and customer needs
