About the Role
We are looking for a Commercial Insight Analyst to join our Business Development team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional who is curious, commercially minded, and passionate about turning ideas into strategies that win new business and grow our pipeline.
In this role, you will play a central part in shaping our growth plans – turning insight into action, supporting opportunity development, and enabling our Business Development, Sales and Marketing teams to engage effectively with prospects. You will draw on your problem-solving ability, communication skills, and commercial awareness to deliver practical recommendations that make a measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Use curiosity and critical thinking to understand market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs, highlighting opportunities and risks.
* Translate insights into clear, compelling recommendations that help Sales teams build confidence in pursuit strategies.
* Collaborate with colleagues to shape action plans that strengthen our position on priority opportunities.
Pipeline Development and Reporting
* Monitor the health of the sales pipeline, sharing progress, risks, and trends in a way that is easy to understand and act on.
* Identify bottlenecks and use problem-solving skills to recommend practical solutions that improve conversion and win rates.
* Provide concise updates that enable leaders to make confident, timely decisions.
Supporting Win Plans and Engagement Strategies
* Partner with Sales colleagues to co-develop win plans and engagement strategies for high-value tenders and accounts.
* Help coordinate engagement activities, ensuring milestones are clear, tracked, and achieved.
* Act as a trusted partner to Sales, keeping plans aligned with customer needs and commercial priorities.
Enabling Campaigns and Messaging
* Work with Marketing to co-create messaging and campaigns that reflect client insights and strengthen our market positioning.
* Support the development of persuasive materials that tell our story and showcase what differentiates us.
* Reflect on the outcomes of pursuits and campaigns, capturing lessons learned and sharing best practice across the team.
* Recommend process and communication improvements to enhance effectiveness, efficiency, and team collaboration.
* Contribute to a culture of learning, adaptability, and commercial curiosity.
