We are seeking a confident and personable individual with well-developed administrative skills to join our Business Support Team, who act as the first port of call for our customers. We provide an administrative support service to the busy 'Place' Directorate, which incorporates Planning, Building Control, Land Charges and Regulatory.

Each day will bring a variety of work, including responding to calls and emails from customers and businesses, processing requests, applications and complaints and providing the appropriate advice where appropriate, raising invoices and providing general administrative support to the services of the directorate.

A vital part of the role will be to ensure that our systems are maintained to the highest standard to enable the Councils to meet their statutory obligations to protect, enhance and keep our communities safe and vibrant.

This role will never be dull as there is always plenty to do. You will therefore need the ability to multi-task with proven experience of managing workloads and prioritising effectively. You will have great communication skills to deal with customers through a variety of channels and enjoy problem solving.
