The Role

As the Electrical Technician Lead Hand, you will play a key role in supporting the Electrical Supervisor to manage daily operations within the electrical department. You'll oversee a team of skilled technicians, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead, coordinate, and support a team of electrical technicians to deliver high-quality assemblies.
* Act as deputy to the Electrical Supervisor when required.
* Maintain department quality standards and ensure adherence to specifications.
* Promote and enforce Health & Safety policies across all activities.
* Monitor departmental efficiency and contribute to continuous improvement.
* Ensure accurate documentation and smooth handover of completed work to other departments.
* Support the supervisor in meeting key project milestones and integration schedules.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

* Minimum ONC (or equivalent) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
* Proven experience working with electrical and electronic systems in a production or manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of:
o Low-voltage AC/DC panel wiring and looming
o High-voltage installations
o Control and data systems
o Fibre optic handling and termination
o Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and MRP/stock management systems.

Desirable

* IEEE 16th Edition accreditation (or equivalent).
* Willingness to travel occasionally for project support.

Key Skills

* Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
* Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail.
* Confident interpreting electrical drawings and schematics.
* Committed to safety, quality, and meeting deadlines.
* Self‑motivated, hands‑on, and able to perform under pressure.

Apply today, and you will be considered by our team for review of your application.
