Head of Home Delivery and Installation Luton Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to head our "Big & Bulky" category, encompassing the strategic development, operational execution, and overall growth of our large and oversized product offerings. This role is pivotal in enhancing customer experience and optimising logistics for these unique product segments. Job Responsibilities * Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the Big & Bulky category, including product assortment, pricing, promotions, and customer service initiatives. * Lead and manage a cross-functional team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance. * Oversee the end-to-end operational efficiency for Big & Bulky products, from supplier management and warehousing to last-mile delivery and installation services. * Identify and implement best practices for inventory management, demand forecasting, and logistics optimization specifically tailored for large items. * Collaborate closely with supply chain, technology, marketing, and sales teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of Big & Bulky initiatives. * Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities and address challenges within the category. * Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Big & Bulky category, regularly reporting on performance and making data-driven adjustments. * Negotiate and manage relationships with suppliers, third-party logistics providers, and service partners to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality service. * Drive continuous improvement in customer satisfaction for Big & Bulky purchases, including delivery experience and after-sales support.
