SEN Science Teacher – Independent SEN School
Prospero Teaching are working with an Independent SEN School that are looking for a Science Teacher to start ASAP.
The School is a leading co-educational Prep and Senior school for children aged 7 to 16, with Dyslexia and Specific Learning Difficulties such as Dyspraxia and Dyscalculia. The School offer full boarding, weekly boarding, flexi boarding and day provision, set in 8 acres of stunning parkland 12 miles from Salisbury.
We are looking to find an enthusiastic, reliable, dynamic and inspirational Science Teacher for the School. The suitable candidate will deliver Science across the school that makes the work accessible to dyslexic pupils and allows them to perform to their full potential. The successful applicant will be joining a strong and supportive department which delivers Science from year 7 to year 11, with it being an option at KS4.
A specialism in Physics is desirable but not essential and experience of teaching BTec would be advantageous.
The School welcome applications from both ECTs or an experienced teacher, full time or flexible considered.

Experience, Training and Qualifications
· QTS or equivalent
· Minimum 1 year Science teaching experience in the UK
· Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
Eligibility
· Hold Right to Work in the UK
· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
· Provide two professional child related references
