Location: Urmston, Greater Manchester
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time (8:30am – 3:30pm), initially until October half term with potential to extend
Are you passionate about helping children achieve their full potential? We have an exciting opportunity for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Urmston.
About the Role
You will provide 1:1 support for a child in Year 4 with complex needs, including autism. This role requires someone nurturing, patient, and able to build strong relationships to help overcome barriers to learning. On some days, you may also offer general classroom support as needed.
What We’re Looking For
• Familiarity with the Year 4 national curriculum
• A caring, empathetic approach and ability to build rapport
• Experience working with children with SEN (particularly autism)
• Ideally, previous experience in a classroom setting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
