As a key member of the Finance Team you shall be responsible for producing statutory financial statements, supporting tax computations and be overall responsible for fixed assets, leases, intercompany, VAT returns and associated monthly reporting.
You shall play an important role in supporting our overall business performance by advising on ways to reduce costs, resolve issues and improve processes.

Description
* Contribute to the planning and execution of the financial audit.
* Produce and file, in accordance to FRS101, Statutory Financial Statements for 9 Companies
* Coordinate with internal and external tax experts the calculation and timely submission of tax computations together with relevant tax analysis.
* Completion and adherence to financial internal controls.
* Keep informed of changes in accounting standards and assist in developing and implementing new accounting and reporting pronouncements and their resulting impact.
* Responsible for fixed asset reporting, forecasting and budgeting and the correct treatment of acquisitions, disposals and impairment.
* Co-ordinate annual fixed assets physical verification.
* Responsible for monitoring and reporting of Capital WIP
* Timely and accurate completion and submission of quarterly VAT returns to HMRC
* Responsible for leased asset reporting (IFRS16), forecasting and budgeting.
* Ensure the correct and timely treatment of acquisitions, disposals, modifications and impairment of leases
* Conduct bi-annual IFRS16 reconciliation and completeness review.
* Responsible for Related Party transactions, including recharges to/from UK group, intercompany reconciliations and monthly reporting.
* Oversight of balance sheet reconciliations.
Profile
* Qualified Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA, ACA CIMA).
* Good level of experience post qualification or newly qualified with experience in an equivalent role.
* Possesses strong technical skill with excellent attention to detail
* Demonstrates strong mathematical and analytical skills over large amounts of data
* Good understanding of accounting standards and fiscal requirements
* Has experience with completing complex Financial Statements
* Has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines
* Proven track record of process improvement, particularly regarding compliance.
