Menswear Buyer/Merchandiser
Reports to : Merchandising Director and Creative Director

House of Bruar are seeking an experienced and passionate Menswear Buyer/Merchandiser to join our creative and friendly team. You will be working closely with our Directors in a pivotal role to support the creative and merchandising teams as well as ensuring that the vision of these teams is communicated and implemented into our iconic menswear department.

About the Role
* Monitor and enhance profit margins while ensuring commercial viability
* Attend buying meetings and trade shows, both domestically and internationally, as required
* Forecast demand and manage stock levels for seasonal and ongoing product lines
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, agents and brand partners
* Oversee visual merchandising for both the retail floor and online platforms
* Assist the Creative director with the selection of collections
* Plan and coordinate promotional campaigns and company-wide sales events
* Lead and support the Menswear Buying Assistant, ensuring consistent performance and development
* Help to communicate the Director’s vision for the menswear department
* Assist the Creative Director with ad-hoc tasks including travel and other personal arrangements
About You
· You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to communicate effectively with people at all levels inside and outside the organisation
· You will be able to analyse and work with large sets of data, and have a high level of skill of excel and stock management systems
· Highly adaptable and able to switch priorities quickly and effectively while completing all tasks.
· You will have experience in menswear brands, preferably in luxury or country brands.
