We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join our forward-thinking secondary school in Sheffield from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation of digital creators, problem solvers, and tech leaders.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will teach Computer Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to contribute to Key Stage 5 depending on experience. You will be joining a collaborative and well-resourced department that values creativity, innovation, and academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in Computer Science
* Support and stretch students of all abilities to achieve their full potential
* Prepare students for GCSE (and A Level if applicable) assessments
* Contribute to curriculum development and extra-curricular computing clubs or activities
* Maintain a positive, well-managed learning environment
We are looking for someone who:
* Holds QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)
* Has strong subject knowledge in Computer Science and programming
* Is confident using a range of digital tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, HTML/CSS)
* Can motivate and inspire students through innovative teaching
* Is committed to continuous professional development and teamwork

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
