About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Administrator to join our team at our Amber site in West Bromwich. This is a key support role within the Technical/Compliance function, helping ensure our Food Safety & Quality standards are maintained and audit-ready at all times.
You will work closely with the Compliance Manager and site teams, supporting audits, maintaining systems, managing documentation, and ensuring traceability and compliance across the site.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain technical systems, databases, SOPs, and compliance documentation
* Support internal and external audits, ensuring the site is audit-ready
* Log and track non-conformances and corrective actions (CAPA)
* Maintain traceability systems and support mock recall exercises
* Manage non-conforming product records, including hold and release processes
* Assist with customer complaints investigations and reporting
* Monitor stock status and liaise with operational teams
* Support export certification processes where required
* Contribute to weekly and monthly technical reports
About You
We are looking for someone who thrives in a detail-driven, fast-paced environment and can confidently manage large volumes of data and documentation.
What We're Looking For
* Experience in a food manufacturing environment
* Understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards
* Strong administrative and organisational skills
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel (formulas, spreadsheets)
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work across teams
* Ability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
* Level 2 or 3 Food Safety / HACCP qualification
* Internal auditing experience
* Knowledge of 2nd and 3rd party audits
* Experience with compliance or technical systems
