Were supporting a fast-growing engineering group that has recently expanded through acquisition. As part of this growth, theyre looking to appoint a Mechanical Design Engineer to work on a range of bespoke bulk-handling and process-equipment projects for major food manufacturers.
All design engineers are based in the same office, creating a supportive environment where you can easily share ideas, get input, and collaborate with experienced colleagues while working on your own projects.
Project work typically involves:
* Dry and wet ingredient handling systems
* Pneumatic conveying solutions
* Process-equipment integration
* Automated material handling and robotics
* Upgrades, refurbishments and service-led engineering tasks
What theyre looking for:
1. A strong background in mechanical design, ideally with experience in material or liquid handling, process equipment, or chemical separation
2. Solid 3D CAD capability, ideally using Autodesk Inventor
3. Ability to deliver bespoke engineered solutions from concept through to manufacture
