What you'll be doing day to day Lead the Company Secretarial Administration function, managing a small virtual team. Oversee all statutory filings and entity management processes, ensuring full compliance. Act as the firm’s expert for company secretarial matters, advising senior stakeholders. Personally manage complex and technical cases within the function. Maintain accurate statutory registers, documentation, and governance records. Monitor regulatory changes and update internal processes and best‑practice standards. Drive service quality through audits, reviews, feedback, and process improvements. Manage fee structures, billing accuracy, WIP monitoring, and client onboarding/offboarding. Optimise workflows, inbox management, and system use (e.g., First Order, Practice Engine). Mentor, develop, and line manage the team, embedding high standards and consistency. Training: You’ll receive on‑the‑job training initially, with further technical and skills development supported through our annual review and development process. About you Experienced in managing company secretarial administration and leading a team. Strong knowledge of Companies House requirements and UK company law. Commercially aware with experience of fees, billing, or budgeting. Skilled at building relationships and influencing colleagues at all levels. Highly organised, detail‑focused, and able to prioritise multiple deadlines. Strong communicator with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly. Proactive problem‑solver who drives improvement and embraces change. Competent with MS Office and quick to pick up new systems; entity management system experience ideal. Experienced working in a professional services environment. Ideally educated to A Level (or equivalent), including Maths and English.
