We're now looking for a driven and knowledgeable Sales & Training Executive to help grow our business and elevate coffee skills across our client base.
Role Overview
The Sales & Training Executive will be the bridge between our customers and our coffee expertise. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with new and existing clients, driving sales growth, and delivering engaging training sessions to ensure our partners serve coffee to the highest standards.
This role combines commercial acumen with hands-on barista and coffee education skills.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Identify, target, and secure new wholesale and retail accounts.Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.Conduct product presentations, cuppings, and tasting sessions for prospective clients.Work closely with the marketing team to execute promotions and campaigns.
Training & Education
Deliver barista training, coffee brewing, and equipment operation sessions for wholesale clients and their teams.Train customers on coffee preparation standards, recipes, and techniques to maintain quality and consistency.Conduct refresher training and performance assessments for partner staff.Assist in developing training materials, manuals, and resources.
Operational Support
Provide technical and basic maintenance guidance on coffee equipment (grinders, espresso machines, brewers).Attend industry events, exhibitions, and competitions to represent the brand.
Skills & Experience
Required:
5+ years of experience in coffee sales, hospitality, or a related field.Strong barista skills with a passion for specialty coffee.Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage client relationships.Comfortable conducting training in both small and large group settings.Valid driver's license.
Preferred:
SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) certifications or equivalent coffee training experience.Knowledge of coffee roasting and green coffee.Experience with coffee equipment troubleshooting.
