THE ROLE
* Preparing financial statements including profit and loss accounts, cash flows, monthly management accounts, variance analysis and commentaries.
* Working Capital Management reporting, including management of local banking facilities and cash flow forecasting.
* Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements across the S‑RM Group.
* Working with practice/cost centre heads to provide accurate information regarding their business areas and ensure compliance with S‑RM company policies.
* Acting as a key contact for auditors as part of statutory audits.
* Providing financial analysis for ad‑hoc projects such as acquisitions, scenario planning and business profitability reviews.
* Driving process improvements and tracking of key KPIs such as utilisation and revenue per team.
The role will be based in our Manchester office. However, we have flexible working arrangements available.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for the following experience and qualifications:
* Qualified chartered Accountant (preferably ACA qualified)
* Strong understanding of IFRS and working capital
* Experience with businesses operating in multiple jurisdictions would be preferable
* Strong excel skills, ideally with experience of modelling

* A proactive approach and a willingness to work outside the job specification when required
* Excellent interpersonal skills
All candidates must have permission to work in the UK by the start of their employment.
