An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior or Associate level Electrical Engineer to join a growing and highly respected Building Services team in Leeds. This role offers the chance to work on a broad range of high-profile projects across healthcare, education, defence, commercial office, and residential sectors.
You will play a key role in delivering innovative electrical design solutions from concept through to completion while supporting junior engineers and working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
The Role
As a Senior / Associate Electrical Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
* Leading electrical building services designs across multiple projects
* Producing reports, specifications, calculations, and technical designs
* Delivering projects through all RIBA stages
* Carrying out electrical calculations using industry-standard software
* Coordinating with architects, contractors, and other consultants
* Attending client and design team meetings
* Undertaking site inspections and technical reviews
* Supporting and mentoring junior engineers
* Advising clients on sustainability and energy-efficient solutions
* Ensuring compliance with current regulations and industry standards

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
* Degree, HNC, or HND in Electrical Engineering or Building Services
* Experience within a building services consultancy environment
* Strong technical design experience across electrical building services
* Knowledge of current regulations and British Standards
* Experience using software such as Amtech, Dialux, or Relux
* Revit/BIM experience desirable
* Strong communication and client-facing skills
* Ability to manage workload across multiple projects
* Chartered status or working towards Chartership desirable
