We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Assistant Conference & Banqueting (C&B) Manager.
This role is instrumental in ensuring that all Conference and Banqueting operations run successfully and in line with all guest requirements. It is a hands-on position where you are expected to manage the team and work alongside them, leading by example and demonstrating luxury standards.
Role Responsibility
Lots to do, but lots of fun
* Ensure that expectations are exceeded at all times in all areas of C&B
* Support operational teams in delivering exceptional standards
* Lead from the front by running and overseeing events. Remain hands-on within this busy food and beverage operation.
* Maintain consistent standards in the absence of the C&B Manager
* Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring warm welcomes and thorough briefings
* Conduct de-briefs after meetings to check satisfaction and gather future sales leads
* Assist in recruitment and development of team members
* Support training to deliver high service levels
* Ensure functions room setup aligns with function sheets and standards
* Aim to hit and exceed budgeted targets
The Ideal Candidate

Our successful Assistant C&B Manager will have:
* Minimum of 2 years supervisory/management experience in a similar 4 to 5-star hotel within a conference and banqueting department
* Flexibility to work different shifts
* Customer service experience and commitment
* Ability to listen and respond to guest needs
* Well presented
* Good time management and multi-tasking skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure
* Flexibility for various work situations
* Problem-solving skills and initiative
