Design Manager (freelance) - Warrington (project-based)
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Design Manager to secure a long-term contract on a technically challenging cut & carve and office fit-out project within an existing commercial building. This is a flagship refurbishment scheme involving complex structural alterations and a full workplace transformation.
The Opportunity:

Lead and manage the full design process on a major refurbishment

Coordinate consultants and specialist subcontractor design packages

Drive technical solutions, buildability, and value engineering
*
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and employer’s standards

Work closely with site, commercial, and client-facing teams

Proven experience delivering commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects

Strong background in cut & carve schemes

Confident managing multiple design stakeholders and technical interfaces
