We are seeking a skilled and highly organised Senior Laboratory Technician to support the effective operation of our busy scientific laboratory.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting Lecturing staff with technical expertise, ensuring the curriculum is delivered efficiently and effectively within the laboratory. This position requires a professional approach to the preparation, cleaning, and ongoing maintenance of laboratory facilities and equipment, maintaining high standards of safety and organisation at all times.
Additionally, the candidate will offer guidance and support to students regarding the use of laboratory resources. This support will be tailored to the relevant areas of study, helping students develop their skills and confidence within a classroom environment.
Applicants should possess a level 3 qualification in a scientific subject and demonstrate prior experience working within a laboratory environment.
