What will you be doing?
We have just completed an exciting fundraising project in 2025, which enabled us to purchase a new £300,000 38ft yacht, which will give 10 years service to the charity. As we are not in a major procurement phase, now is the ideal time to regroup, recruit and make strategic plans for the next 5 years. In terms of IT, we have a current team of 2, with the lead retiring. We want to build a team of 3 to improve automation & efficiency, replace a legacy membership database with 3rd party software that we are already familiar with and improve our web and social media presence. We pride ourselves on being friendly and relaxed and we aim for 50% of the Management Committee to be disabled members, encouraging participation and full inclusivity. We want the IT assistant to assist with our exciting plans to strengthen and grow, keeping pace with changing times and tightening regulations.
