We are looking for a Group HR Officer for the Group.
The successful candidate will report to the Group Head of Human Resources, and will provide support to all areas of the business.
Purpose of the role:
To provide effective advice, guidance and support on all HR matters to all managers and staff within Titan Entertainment Group, Titan Publishing Group & Forbidden Planet
Key responsibilities
* Provide HR 'help desk' support for all staff advising on employee relations issues such as; performance management, absence, recruitment, disciplinary and grievance etc
* Run monthly and/ or quarterly reports on outstanding leave, sickness, authorised absences and long service awards using the HR database
* Manage, maintain and report on Long Service Awards etc. Updating procedures regularly and ensuring that all information is captured and regularly up-dated
* Monitor all staff absence levels within the Group and advise managers on appropriate remedial action for junior staff. Advise Group HOHR of all absences. Attend and conduct absence meetings with those staff with high absence levels. Look at patterns in sickness and liaise with managers.
* Manage the recruitment process for the business taking full responsibility of all vacancies including; creating the advert, shortlisting, inviting and arranging, attending, facilitating interviews and dealing with all administration
* Report on recruitment costs and look at ways to reduce any external recruitment cost. Negotiating recruitment costs with agencies.
* Manage and process new joiners and leavers from start to finish, liaising with relevant support departments to ensure a smooth process.
* Manage and monitor the HR Database system, taking responsibility for the upkeep and cleansing of data. Acting as system administrator regarding any issues with HR or Payroll system
* Assisting payroll in month end process
As we move into a new phase of transformation, the candidate will be given the opportunity to take on large projects.
