Senior CT Radiographer (Band 6)
We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic and specialist Senior CT Radiographer (Band 6) to join our friendly and sociable imaging team at the Royal Sussex County Hospital (RSCH) in Brighton. The role is ideal for a suitably qualified radiographer committed to providing and maintaining a very high standard of patient care and imaging outcomes.
Overview
Our brand new, purpose-designed imaging department has opened recently as part of an expansive redevelopment of the Royal Sussex County Hospital site (3Ts Development). The department benefits from 5 current scanners – two Canon Aquilion One Prism, two Siemens X.ceed, and one Siemens Drive – with a planned expansion to 6 operational CT scanners in the new Louisa Martindale building.
Responsibilities
* Rotate through outpatient, inpatient and emergency departments, seeing patients from a variety of sources.
* Participate in the 7‑day extended day and out‑of‑hours (OOH) rotas, providing a high standard 24‑hour emergency service.
* Develop orientation to plain film, theatres, mobiles and RACH to provide a comprehensive range of services.
* Engage with and support lead and super‑intendent radiographers, contributing to professional development and team performance.
* Support the department’s commitment to excellent patient experience and imaging outcomes.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Registered radiographer with appropriate UK qualifications.
* Experience in CT imaging and flexibility to work across multiple clinical settings.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and high standards of patient care.
* Willingness to work flexible arrangements, including extended day and OOH shifts.
