A fantastic business development opportunity to join our Mid Market organisation within Sky Business. Delivering a range of solutions leveraging our comprehensive UK wide network, we have an extensive range of partners and our parent company Comcast Business to meet our customers needs today and into the future.


What you'll do:

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting: Leading the team to identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching potential clients, industries, and markets.
2. Moving at Pace: The ability to multitask at pace, identify quick wins within the prospect base, qualify and close.
3. Accountability: Forecasting is vital; you will be expected to deliver on commitments for the team and play a pivotal role in driving sales to close.
4. Sales & Revenue Growth: Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets, working closely with the wider business, providing feedback from customers and the team to ensure we are offering the right services and solutions to Mid Market customers.
5. Proposal & Contract Negotiation: Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and contracts that align with client needs and company goals.
6. Reporting: Track and report on key activities, prospecting, sales cycle, and performance metrics.
7. Team Leadership Skills: Ability to manage a team and their performance, define clear KPIs, set and communicate expectations and objectives, motivate and guide team members, and ensure responsibility for tasks.
8. Resilience: Adjust strategies when needed, encourage creative problem solving.


What you'll bring:

* A proven track record of delivering high-volume new business telecom deals into Mid-Market businesses
* Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Highly motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
* Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and other business development tools.

Work Arrangements:

We offer a hybrid working model, combining office visits and remote work. This role involves travel around the UK, including visits to Sky offices, such as our head office in Isleworth.
