At HC-One, we are looking for enthusiastic and committed Care Assistants to join our Flex Force team. If you’re looking to earn extra money while gaining valuable experience in the care sector, Flex Force offers contracted hours and guaranteed set pay each month, so you can choose shifts that fit around your family life or other commitments. Shifts are scheduled across our care homes in the Easterton area and may include days, nights and weekends. As a Flex Force Care Assistant, you will travel between a cluster of homes and support the unique needs of each resident while keeping control over your schedule.
About the Role
As a Flexible Care Assistant at HC‑One, you will provide kind, high‑quality care in our dementia, nursing, residential and specialist homes. You will support residents’ independence, dignity and well‑being in everything you do, from daily hygiene and meals to emotional support and palliative care.
Responsibilities
* Support residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisted meals.
Qualifications and Skills
* Minimum of 10 hours a week, flexible shift pattern.
* Willingness to travel between homes and work a cluster of sites.
* Good communication skills and a positive, compassionate attitude.
* Basic safeguarding knowledge and the ability to recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect.
* Safe driving licence and access to a vehicle would be advantageous but is not essential.
* All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in associated areas.
