This is a hands-on role where you’ll see your designs move from concept through to fabrication and final build, with all equipment designed and manufactured on site. The Role As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be involved in the full design process, from concept through to manufacture. Key responsibilities include: * Producing accurate 2D drawings and 3D models * Creating general arrangement drawings and detailed manufacturing drawings * Carrying out design calculations to support engineering decisions * Ensuring the feasibility, functionality, and manufacturability of all designs * Applying tolerances and engineering best practices to all drawings * Designing equipment that is built and assembled on site * Producing detailed drawings of component parts for fabrication * Working closely with production and fabrication teams What We’re Looking For The ideal Mechanical Design Engineer will have a strong background in mechanical engineering design and a "hands-on" approach to problem-solving.
