Salary Range: £31,990 - £41,718.11 pro rata (subject to qualifications, skills, and experience)

Sessional rate: £35.73/hour (£29.78/hour + £5.96/hour as payment for annual leave)
Hours: Monday and Friday – 8:45 am to 5 pm

Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective AAT lessons in accordance with the curriculum across AAT Levels 2–4.
* Assess students progress and support them in their learning journey.
* Act as a personal tutor, provide pastoral care, promote attendance, and support students to attain suitable work placements.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to planning, development, and review activities within the subject area.
* Work closely with the Director of Learning and the team to share knowledge and drive continuous improvement within the College.
Requirements
* A Teaching qualification at level 3
* AAT Level 4 qualification (preferably a degree) or equivalent
* Previous, relevant FE teaching experience delivering on AAT courses
* Relevant degree or equivalent industrial or professional qualification
* Maths & English GCSE / Level 2 equivalent
Role details & opportunities
This is a part-time role (2 full days per week) with potential to grow. Additional sessional hours may be available as student numbers increase, offering the opportunity to build towards full-time hours.
In this role you will deliver high-quality AAT lessons, assess progress, and support students’ learning journeys. You will share knowledge with students, help them achieve at high levels, and contribute to continuous improvement within the College. You will act as a personal tutor and participate in planning and development within your subject area.
