This large multi-site provision supports children and young people aged 2 to 19 with a wide range of complex needs, including ASD, SLCN, SEMH, PMLD, MLD, SLD, physical difficulties, medical needs, and sensory impairments.

This setting is one of the region’s leading SEND providers, committed to delivering exceptional education for exceptional lives across Early Years, Primary, Secondary and Post-16 pathways. It works closely with partner provisions and specialist services to ensure every learner has the personalised support they require.

Key Responsibilities

As a SEND Teacher, you will:

* Plan and deliver highly individualised learning programmes for pupils with diverse and complex SEND profiles such as ASD, SEMH, SLCN, PMLD, MLD and SLD.
* Use multi-sensory teaching, AAC, visual supports, structured routines, and adaptive strategies to maximise engagement and progress.
* Work collaboratively with Therapists, SEN Support Staff, Behaviour Specialists, Medical and Physical Needs Teams, and families.
* Set EHCP-linked targets, track progress and implement evidence-based interventions.
* Create a trauma-informed, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment that supports emotional regulation, communication and independence.

What We’re Looking For

* QTS/QTLS (both ECTs and experienced teachers welcome).
* Experience working with pupils with complex SEND, or a strong desire to develop in the SEND sector.
* Skills in behaviour regulation, positive handling approaches, and restorative practice.
* Knowledge of specialist curriculum pathways such as pre-formal, semi-formal, experiential and life-skills-based learning.
* A reflective, resilient attitude and commitment to ongoing professional development.

What’s on Offer

* A supportive, multi-disciplinary team within a high-quality specialist provision.
* Opportunities to teach across Early Years, Primary, Secondary and Post-16 stages.
* Access to extensive CPD in areas such as autism practice, behaviour support, communication development, sensory integration, and medical needs.
* A nurturing, inclusive culture built on collaboration, dignity, and high aspirations.
