So, what will I be doing?
Working as part of our team, you willbe responsible forfibre splicing, testing, and troubleshooting networks tomaintainoptimalperformance. You will take responsibility for the quality and safety of your work, acting as an ambassador for best practices in everything you do. You will also:
1. Perform splicing and termination of fibre optic cables for indoor, outdoor, and underground installations on new build developments.
2. Conduct testing and troubleshooting of fibre optic networks using OTDR, power meters, and light sources to ensure signal quality and continuity.
3. Read and follow engineering plans and specifications, accurately recording materials used.
