The main responsibilities and requirements of the role will include:
• As the Plant's subject matter expert (SME) providing technical assistance in all body joining matters (welding, adhesives & sealants)
• Working closely with production and maintenance teams to identify technical bottlenecks and provide technical solutions
• Working with production to improve weld efficiency and quality
• Improving adhesive performance and anti-corrosion aspects
• Liaising with CCRW
• Training Maintenance personnel
• Supporting Body shop engineering as part of a multi functional team
• Supporting model launch and engineering change programmes
Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:
• Be a time-served Electrical/Mechanical/Multi-Skilled engineer
• Have a HNC qualification in Electrical or Mechanical engineering
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and motivate others
• Effective work / time management skills
• Good communication skills at all levels
