The company are well known and well regarded, and are engaged in cutting edge aircraft research & design, and related specialist component production that are sold worldwide. We are looking for a key person (at Senior / Principal level) who has experience of Aerospace Safety or Systems (or both), who has worked at aircraft, system and equipment level.
This is an interesting and challenging role within one of the biggest names in the industry. The role includes the following - you will have experience of a large number of these and, knowledge of others:
· Functional Hazard Assessment - FHA
· Fault Tree Analysis - FTA
· Failure Mode and Effects Analysis - FMEA
· Hazard ID / Hazard Logs / Hazard Management
· Writing Safety Cases
Beneficial
· ARP 4754 experience
· SC Clearance (or able to obtain it)
Candidate Profile
· Degree in relevant discipline (or equivalent)
· Aerospace engineering experience
· Soft skills: Collaborative, good / clear communicator, people person
Extra Details
· Role is based in the North West, with a 'mix' of remote and onsite working
· Able to visit Bristol once a month
· Can be a full-time or contract (inside IR35)
