This welcoming and vibrant primary school in Manchester (M40) is seeking a compassionate and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team this September.
Whether youâre hoping to progress into teaching, educational psychology, or SEN support, this role will give you the hands-on experience to get started.
Your Role â Where Youâll Make a Difference
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, youâll be more than just supportâyouâll be empowering children to believe in themselves and achieve their potential.
Your day-to-day may include:
Supporting pupils with SEN such as ASD, ADHD, speech & language needs, and social/emotional challenges
Working 1:1 or with small groups on targeted interventions
Assisting teachers with personalised plans and learning activities
Encouraging independence, communication, and emotional regulation
Providing support with personal care or mobility where required
Building strong, positive relationships that boost confidence
Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and families to track progress
