Ward Manager (RMN or RNLD) – Neurological Rehabilitation Location: York • Salary: Up to £52,500 per annum • Hours: 35 per week (rota) • Contract: Permanent • Company: Pivotal People on behalf of our client Introduction / About the Role Pivotal People is partnering with a purpose-built neurobehavioural rehabilitation service in York to appoint a Ward Manager. Supporting up to 40 adults with non-progressive acquired brain injuries, you’ll be the visible clinical lead—setting standards, nurturing a high-performing MDT and turning complex presentations into meaningful, measurable progress. Key Responsibilities * Provide hands-on clinical and operational leadership to deliver safe, person-centred, evidence-based care. * Lead admission and discharge pathways, ensuring seamless, goal-focused rehabilitation. * Embed robust MDT communication and documentation for continuity and outcomes. * Drive risk management, safeguarding and regulatory compliance. * Recruit, mentor and develop colleagues; manage rotas, supervision, appraisal and workforce planning. * Champion reflection, learning and continuous improvement across the ward.
