Role Description
This is a full‑time hybrid role for a Security Systems Service Engineer, based in the City of Leicester, with the flexibility to work from home for certain responsibilities. The role includes the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic security systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing technical support in the field. The Service Engineer will also ensure high‑quality service delivery and effective communication with clients and team members to address security system requirements and issues.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to ensure efficient system operation.
* Experience in field service roles involving hands‑on installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic security systems.
* Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
* Ability to provide effective technical support and conduct regular system maintenance checks.
* A solid understanding of access control, CCTV, door entry systems, and intruder alarm systems.
* Relevant technical certifications or training in electronic security systems is a plus.
* Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
* A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel nationwide as required for field service tasks.
